Actually I read a piece the other day that asserted that technology has sped up so much that the cyber generation of today only lasts for two or three years and the techno wunderkinds of today will be outdated before they are twenty. That is texting, facebook and Utube will be outdated in 4 or 5 years and new ways to interact with a computer will be 'the way to go'. Imagine some 19 year old outdated nerd texting to twitter while his twelve year old counterpart with a cyber-chip implant is playing Mario Bros, doing his homework and texting to six friends at the same time he is eating a cheese sandwich with both hands and reading the New York Times sports section.
