Why all the hate?

This is a question that deserves an honest answer.
While I think the word 'hate' is a little strong, I would agree that there is a lot of spirited dissent posted on this site.
We all have the right to our opinions.
If someone disagrees that is their privilege.
However, what some would view as hate just might be another persons honest opinion.
In a perfect world we could all just get along. However, we don't, and never have, lived in a perfect world.
People tend to feel that their views are the best. Nice theory but not really reality.
I'm sorry that some of the 'old timers' have stopped posting, but that is their personal business. Personally I would like to see them on this venue again.
That said, I hope that we can keep posting our opinions/thoughts. Sure, someone may disagree with us but when you make a statement/opinion public, it is just human nature to have someone who isn't seeing it like you do.
As some one once said, 'Can't we all just get along?.
Just my random thoughts,
