If by "The most vocal and very serious obstructionists" you mean corporations and big business in general I agree. However, their methods are very grimy in their demonizing of any and all that oppose their interests through the media. This is what is new to our world in the last twenty years.

This is why it is impossible to have sane arguments, because if you disagree you are automatically seen as a teabagger or an elite or whatever the current demon is that's being tossed about the media channels.

Only goodwill can overcome this demonizing. Because its only if you see someone else as a human being with similar desires, needs and rights as yourself that the image of them being either an elite or a teabagger will be gotten around. But with these demon images standing in the way one can generate enough hate to insult debase and even kill.
