: Opinion doesn't really play a part of this. Scientists around the world have records going back 1000's of years. If you watch the movie "Inconvenient Truth" it will clear up your confusion. The "warming" refers to ocean temps that have been climbing every year. This creates crazy weather patterns like the storm we had the beginning of Dec. or Katrina. This warming has also been killing off plant life in the ocean. As the plant life dies, that kills off ocean life, which kills off everything that eats ocean life, which kills off.... well, if we wait long enough... US! The polar ice caps are melting and in the future, you'll watch ocean levels climb and eventually all those rich folks that live next to the oceans in this country (& others) will be underwater.... The temps are also climbing in the deserts but we'll save that explanation until after you watch "Inconvenient Truth" and know the facts, instead of an opinion that's been propagated by the Bush administration. That Bushie is too busy stealing oil, ooops(!) I mean fighting terrorists to be bothered with all this life or death environmental nonsense. Soooo.... if you have any grandkids or care about what this world will be like in say another 30 - 40 years, you need to watch the movie to have a better understanding of reality.

Not only have I seen the film "An Inconevient Truth" I have the DVD and have watched it twice,thank you.
When I first saw the film,like most people I was scared that next Monday was our last day on Earth.
All the "facts" seemed to be in step with what I saw on some news reports from the liberal left.
Then I did a Google on "An Inconevient truth debunked" and read in depth the reports from those experts who are in the field of climate changes and not just those who claim to be serious science majors.
Of course I care about the world and what we will leave to our grandkids.I not some heartless asshole as many think.
I do have a understanding of "reality" as you put it.
After watchng the film I did get my Grab-N-Go bag restored with new and exciting products.I'll give the film credit for that.
When I posted the above Snow? Can't be...! I had just watched a TV show on TLC about the warming of the deserts around the world.As the guy was explaining why we were in trouble ( he noted man as most of the reason for global warming) he walked over to his Ford Explorer (an SUV)
and took out his lap-top and showed how the sands were doing this and that.I thought to myself...that's great,here's a guy slamming man for causing all this mess as he sat on the tailgate of his ford explorer...that's all.
And as for my opinion being propagated by the Bushies...sweet Jesus girl..nothing could be more untrue than that.
But thanks for your reply.It makes life interesting.
